If you are new to wearing wigs or hair extensions, then you may have some concerns about to take care of the hair. I will be answering some questions below.

1. Does the hair shed?

Just like your natural hair, extensions will shed. Minimum Shedding is a common occurrence with hair extensions and because they are made of human hair, you can expect some shedding throughout their lifespan. As you brush and style it, you may notice some fall-out may occur so don't be surprised or worried when this happens. This is very normal. However, proper maintenance is important and will result in longevity.

2. Can I color the hair?

Yes, the hair can be colored, permed and bleached. The hair is 100% virgin human hair. I will say once the hair is treated then it will lose it natural state and is no longer virgin anymore. I do HIGHLY RECOMMEND that Beauty In Paradise Mynx or a professional stylist perform the coloring services on the hair. If you decide to color the hair and it gets damaged then, Beauty In Paradise Mynx WILL NOT be responsible during the whole coloring process, that's not done by us.

3. Are your wigs ready to wear?

ALL wigs are customized with bleached knots, pre-plucked hairline, and an adjustable elastic band. Please be prepared to provide your measurements as units are made to order and custom to your head size (or circumference). Unless it's a READY TO SHIP.

4. How do I maintain my wig or hair extensions?

ALWAYS use heat protectant when styling.
DO NOT use any heavy oils
ALWAYS wash and condition the hair at least once bi-weekly.
Please make sure that you wrap your hair up with a silk scarf or bonnet
Please make sure that your hair is dry before going to bed at night
When detangling your hair, always start from the tip of the hair and slowly work your way up to the roots
